In the Mood for a Yak, Bacon & Cheddar Burger?

Posted on December 15

If you’re into creative fare, visit Flaming Grill Café for an out-of-the-ordinary burger experience. The popular, very casual café offers patrons 10 meat patties from which to choose, including elk, llama, alligator and wild boar (and I learned today that kangaroo has recently been added to the menu).  I adore Flaming Grill’s Mushroom Swiss burger, smothered in melted cheese and piled high with grilled onions and mushrooms; and the feisty Jalapeno and Jack burger – with beef, thank you very much. But according to café staff, the more esoteric patties are “very popular.”
