If you’re a doughnut lover, I suggest you hop in the car and make a beeline for Napa’s Morimoto restaurant, which – in addition to its outrageously gorgeous savory food –cranks out some pretty amazing desserts. This lauded new restaurant has elevated the humble doughnut to haute cuisine by serving up its puffy, hot-sugary-crusty balls of fried dough with more sweet stuff to dip them in – specifically, Japanese molasses, lavender honey, lavender sugar, soybean sugar, green tea sugar and ginger sugar. Go get ‘em.
