Find Local Treasures for Thanksgiving at Blue Goose Produce

Posted on November 22

I stopped into Blue Goose Produce in Loomis recently and discovered a treasure trove of locally-grown fruits and veggies, as well as fresh-baked artisan breads, an array of cheeses, preserves and even locally-raised meats. Piles of beautiful gourds added color to the rustic space, and the basket of soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies at the cash register caught my kids’ attention.

This friendly, community-minded store is a great place to pick up wholesome, fresh ingredients for your Thanksgiving meal – and you’ll feel good knowing that you’re supporting local small farmers in the process.
