The Cellar Wine Bar: A Hot Spot for Enophiles

Posted on June 19

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Cellar Wine Bar in El Dorado Hills and was impressed with the array of wine-friendly nibbles available to guests. Appealing menu items to complement the establishment’s extensive wine list include beautiful cheese and charcuterie plates, a selection of salads (try the pear and feta salad), paninis and a handful of “shareable plates” such as a lovely Scottish smoked salmon ensemble and bruschetta. The attractive, wine-centric interior of the Cellar is dim and cozy, with both table and bar seating – a great spot to meet up with friends for a relaxed evening. The Cellar offers live music, beer and wine tastings, and, during happy hour – Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm – customers save $2 on glasses of wine; $1 on beer; and can order personal pizzas for just $6 each.

Make-A-Wish Foundation's 27th annual Wine and Food Fest

Make-A-Wish Foundation's 27th annual Wine and Food Fest

Images from the Make-A-Wish Foundation's 27th annual Wine and Food Fest Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Guests were treated to food and drink from nearly 100 local eateries and bars. Other vendors auctioned off wares and services ranging from hand-woven free trade baskets to modern art work and vintage photographs. Proceeds from the event went to the charity’s mission of arranging experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
