All Aboard the Farm-to-Fork Train

If you’re caught up in the region’s Farm-to-Fork fever, you might consider booking a seat on a very unique train ride. On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Sacramento River Train will take a group of lucky passengers on a four and a half-hour experience which includes a reception and tour at West Sacramento’s esteemed Peabody Ranch and a five-course farm-to-fork feast prepared by Chef Gabriel Glaser from Fair Oaks’ Maranello Restaurant. The adventure begins at 4 p.m., and tickets cost $150 (which include the train ride, farm tour, dinner, wine pairings and a souvenir glass).
