Now’s a great time to join Slow Food Sacramento: The local group is celebrating its annual Harvest Dinner at Mulvaney’s B&L this Sunday, Nov. 3, and it promises to be a rollicking and food-centric evening.
This year’s Snail of Approval awards, handed out to more than a dozen local business owners whose work embodies the Slow Food principles of “Good, Clean, and Fair,” will be presented; and attendees will enjoy a bountiful dinner. Menu items include Sacramento Sturgeon Piccata with Meyer lemon and Sierra Nevada butter; whole- roasted Navajo Churro lamb; and Del Rio Botanical squash ravioli with aged Jack cheese.
