Need a Fun, Crowd-Pleasing Dessert? Try Freeport Bakery’s Cookies

Posted on May 20

I had a batch of hungry friends headed to my house recently for an impromptu dinner party; and in the hasty chaos of food preparation I forgot the most important course—dessert. After a panicky 10 minutes spent rushing through cookbooks, looking for an easy-to-prepare confection, I dispatched my family to Freeport Bakery, Land Park’s beloved bastion of sweetness. They returned with a beautiful array of cookies, which turned out to be the undeniable hit of our dinner party. Guest liked the novelty of the dessert, and relished all the different flavor choices available to them. I’ll certainly consider this option again the next time I entertain—even if I have time to make a dessert myself.
