It’s true that local farmers markets are teeming with freshly plucked late-spring fruits such as strawberries, apricots, nectarines and peaches, but let’s not forget the vegetables—now’s the time to snatch up bountiful basketfuls of lovely green and yellow zucchini squash (and its blossoms), fava beans, artichokes, sugar snap peas and garlic.
