Haven’t decided yet where you want to ring in 2010? Sacramento has plenty of options for revelers this year. The fireworks show along the riverfront will light up the Sacramento sky twice—at 9 p.m. and midnight—so you can see them even if you can’t stay awake until midnight. Party people can enjoy the “Countdown to New Years Eve” and a massive prize-filled balloon drop at the Park Ultra Lounge? Regular tickets cost $50, and The Park has numerous VIP packages ranging from $650 (admission and a bottle of top-shelf alcohol for up to six guests) to $2,300 (admission for up to 30 guests, VIP room and complimentary liquor and champagne). You can buy tickets online or reserve a VIP package by calling a VIP coordinator at (916) 442-7222. Doors open at 8 p.m. MiX Downtown and Grange are also offering New Year’s Eve specials.
