Feast at the Fort

Posted on September 19

One special event is about to unite both history buffs and food fanatics alike. Friends of Sutter’s Fort is proud to present Feast at the Fort, a one-of-a-kind culinary event that includes a four-course sit-down dinner prepared by some of Sacramento’s top chefs. The feast will take place within the historic walls of Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.

Not only will you get to enjoy the delectably prepared meal, but also lively music, appetizers, wine, beer, and local coffee and tea tastings, all while taking in the historic scenery. Newly added this year, the historic food preservation technique of curing will be showcased in some of the specially created recipes, which feature local ingredients.
