The Women's Conference

Posted on February 18

March is National Women’s History Month, and in celebration, California First Lady Maria Shriver is hosting The Women’s Conference at The California Museum on Thursday, March 4—and it’s all free.

From 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., you can meet our state’s female elected officials, as well as other women who are making history, including astronaut Sally Ride, environmental activist Erin Brockovich, and Iron Chef Cat Cora.

Conference attendees can come and go as they please, and take part in book signings by best-selling authors, celebrity chef demonstrations, film screenings, musical performances and art exhibitions, to name just a few activities throughout the day.

All-day parking is $5, and is available at 2311 6th Street (with free shuttle service to The Museum). The California Museum is located at 1020 O Street.
