You don’t have to be an art student or the parent of one to visit the Creative Arts & Music Center’s annual art show and picnic. Everyone is welcome to the free event. The center, located in Granite Bay, is under the new ownership of Greg Bodie and Sacramento magazine freelancer Thea Marie Rood. At the event, which takes place Saturday, June 5, you can view the student exhibit, Art Through the Ages, and listen to students and teachers playing instruments and singing on the back patio. Bring a picnic or purchase a barbecue dinner at the event.
The Creative Arts & Music Center serves about 300 art and music students. For more information, click on http://childrenscreativeartcenter.org/.
