Have you heard about the new TV show that aims to help Americans eat better, “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution”? On the show, Oliver asking first graders to identify various vegetables. The result? They can’t. Well, Sacramento is taking steps to help its students eat better. Professional chef Sam Rainwater will show kids how to create simple, healthy school lunches at the Fair Oaks Library on Thursday, March 18. Food samples will be provided. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. The Fair Oaks Library is located at 11601 Fair Oaks Blvd. in Fair Oaks. Click here to register.
