Food and Laughs: What Could Be Better?

Posted on March 29

It’s not often that you can eat April foods while laughing at April fools, but that’s exactly what’s on tap Thursday. On April 1, The Cultured Kitchen will hold an April Fool’s for Foodies Fundraiser at Comedysportz Sacramento. At first, this might seem like a bit of a strange match, but considering the health benefits of both organic foods and hearty laughter, it’s a great pairing for April Fool’s Day.

Enjoy a bounty of raw, organic vegan foods (soy, wheat and gluten free) along with a fast-paced, family-friendly improv show from Comedysport. There will be more than $400 in raffle and door prizes, and the rare and sometimes troubling spectacle of watching comedians eat.

Date and time: Thursday, April 1 at 6 p.m.
Location: 2230 Arden Way (just east of Howe)
Tickets: $30 per person or $50 per couple
