Bake Sale at the Capitol

Posted on May 7

Do you get a case of the “Mondays,” where you feel a little blue on Sunday night thinking about the impending week? I’ve got something that might make things seem a little brighter this Monday, May 13, especially if you are anywhere near the state Capitol. Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary is having its annual Summer Bake Sale from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The goodies—homemade cookies, muffins, bars and more—will be set up outside of the north entrance to the building at 11th and L streets. Everything is “sold” on a donation basis, but donate generously. Happy Tails is an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, so the money you donate helps save our local cats and dogs.

What: Bake Sale at the Capitol
When: Monday, May 13, 7:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
Where: North side of the State Capitol, 11th and L streets; Sacramento
Cost: Donations
