Cher, The Temptations and Tom Jones all performing under one roof? Could it be true? OK, not the real Cher, Temptations and Tom Jones but how about local notables embodying the personas of the above-mentioned superstars and others? It’s happening this Monday, May 20 at the Crest Theatre during “Believe . . . in a Better Life.” FOX40’s Tia Ewing; “Good Day Sacramento’s” Ken Rudulph, Tina Macuha, Julissa Ortiz and Courtney Dempsey; former assemblyman Lloyd Levine, restaurateur Kevin Fat and others will take to the stage to belt out the tunes in this Broadway-style show, all to benefit My Sister’s House, which helps victims of domestic violence in the Asian Pacific Islander community. West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon will be master of ceremonies. The show takes place from 7 p.m.–8:30 p.m. But the fun gets started at 5 p.m. with a pre-show reception at Social, located at 1000 K St., just across the street from the Crest. Tickets to the show and reception are $100; $50 for the show only.
