What could make a lovely evening at the ice rink even more enjoyable? Why, a Disney theme, of course. The cult of the mouse strikes again, this time bringing Disney cheer to the St. Rose of Lima ice rink on Dec. 5. From 6 to 8 in the evening, DJ Shaun Slaughter will be spinning classic holiday tunes while the ice rink transforms itself into a wintry Disney wonderland. Everyone invited is encouraged to dress in their Disney best, so round up your Minnie and Mickey costumes, your rodent ears, giant gloved hands, and Disneyland sweaters because it's going to get very, very mousey out there. After tearing it up on the ice, you'll be able to chow down on dinner from Sacatomatoes, a new food truck from Broderick Restaurant & Bar and Wicked 'Wich. Consider this night a chance to geek out on Disney, dress up in your costumed best, and get your ice-skate on. Children are plenty welcome, and Disney-loving adults shouldn't feel shy about letting their inner child loose.
