Mary Youngblood Concert

Posted on November 21

I never thought I'd say a flutist shreds, but Mary Youngblood straight up shreds. The woman truly gets down on her Native American flute. A two-time Grammy award winner and Emmy nominee, Youngblood has catapulted herself to success through her elegant, otherworldly compositions and performances. No wonder the Crocker Art Museum has invited the "First Lady of the Flute" to demonstrate her artistry in concert on Thursday, Nov. 21. Prepare to be transported by her ethereal, magical music and commanding presence. Because of her notoriety, the Crocker recommends buying tickets now before the show sells out. Learn more here.

What: Mary Youngblood Concert
When: Thursday, Nov. 21, 7 p.m.
Where: Crocker Art Museum, 216 O St., Sacramento
Cost: $6-$12
