Painting for Paws

Posted on August 27

Surely you’ve contemplated what cats and dogs are thinking, but have you ever wondered what our pets would paint if given the chance? Find out for yourself when the fanciful felines and painterly pups of the Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary participate in the 9th Annual Painting for Paws! Silent Auction and Art Show on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 6–9 p.m. at the Dante Club.

Enjoy fabulous food, dive into some drinks, dance to the music and bid in the silent auction to take home your very own work of animal art (no joke: the Happy Tails rescue animals have actually painted the pieces available for auction with their own four paws). Proceeds benefit the no-kill, all-volunteer nonprofit rescue shelter founded in 1993 to save and spay strays.

For tickets and more information, call (916) 556-1155, click here or email purrball@happytails.org. The Dante Club is located at 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd.
