At Paws to Party—or pause to party (get it?)—animal lovers can spend an evening eating, drinking and mingling with the good folks from the Front Street Animal Shelter, whose work saves thousands of fur babies’ lives, year after year. The event, which happens Friday, Aug. 23 from 6–9 p.m., will also feature fun party music by Roni and the Flight, whose set list includes tunes like “Got to Be Real” and “Shotgun,” and a silent auction. But don’t go looking for the party at the animal shelter: It’s being held at the nearby California Automobile Museum.
