Sacramento Puppy & Kitten Show

Posted on October 9

It’s an irresistible idea: Put kitties and puppies together for one big, cuter-than-cute show. That’s what’s happening at Cal Expo on Oct. 12 and 13, when the Sacramento Kennel Club will host its inaugural Sacramento Puppy & Kitten Show. Though the schedule looks heavily dog-dominated, with working dog demonstrations, puppy competitions and trick dog shows, the kitties will get a chance to strut their stuff at a costume contest. Also on tap: A long list of vendors (Fashion Fo Paws gets my vote for cleverest name) and a Howl-O-Ween costume contest for the canine crowd.
