I'll be honest. I don't know much about woodworking, and I don't know much about woodworking conventions. I imagine it's something like in that one episode of “Parks and Recreation” where Ron Swanson goes to a woodworking awards ceremony and everyone has a beard and is nerding out over really fancy Adirondack chairs. Not clear on it.
But for those of you “This Old House” superfans who know a jigsaw from a taper jig (no idea), get yourselves over to The Woodworking Show at Cal Expo! This woodworking convention is making its only stop in Northern California here in Sacramento, and consists of three days of workshops, seminars, vendors, giveaways, project showcases, product reveals and more. I'm pretty sure it's a big deal and I'm pretty sure, if you like working with wood, that you need to be there. Find out more here.
