The holidays are a time for happiness and love, but sometimes all the chortling mechanical Santas and nonstop Christmas carol radio play can get to you, and not in a good way. Thank goodness for those sickos at Trash Film Orgy, then, for orchestrating this year's TFO Xmas 2013, a night of debauched adult entertainment guaranteed to make Mrs. Claus blush. Sacramento's raunchiest film festival is back for one special holiday evening on Dec. 14 at the Crest Theatre, this time featuring Silent Night, Deadly Night, a 1984 horror flick about a boy who takes revenge into his own hands after witnessing his parents' brutal murder by a Santa Claus-costumed killer. So truly nasty and trashy is this cult classic that it was banned from theaters when it was initially released.
The doors of the Crest will be opening at 8 p.m. for pre-show entertainment, including Santa's Trash Workshop, games, prizes, beer, free gift giveaways and skimpily-dressed elves. Trash Film Orgy will also be playing terrible and tawdry Christmas movie trailers, cartoons, ads and shorts before putting on the main event. Due to the pure sleaziness of it all, this event is for adults only. For more information, see here.
