‘Wish You Were Here’

Posted on October 3

The bond between a man and his dog—or, in this case, a man who misses his dog—was the impetus behind Gary Dinnen’s one-man show at the Adamson Gallery. Wish You Were Here, which runs through Oct. 5 and is dedicated in loving memory of Dinnen’s longtime furry friend Bell, showcases the artist’s colorful, whimsical paintings and ceramic sculptures, some of them life-size.

Perhaps the write-up on the Adamson Gallery’s Facebook page says it best: “This show will lift your spirits for sure! So much color, and happy animal faces.” To learn more about Dinnen and to view his fanciful works, visit garydinnen.com.
