Night at the Museum

Posted on July 16

Ever wondered what happens at the museum when the doors are shut for the day? Get after-hours access and the excitement your kids crave at the Crocker Art Museum’s “Night at the Museum” event on Thursday, July 24 from 5-9 p.m., inspired by the kooky Ben Stiller movie of the same name. (Don’t worry, there are no T-rex skeletons at the Crocker!)

Kids can wear their PJs or dress up as their favorite character from the movie while they enjoy art activities, entertainment and film recreations courtesy of the Sacramento Theatre Company, live animal shows, screenings of the fantastical film, dancing and lots more nighttime amusement at this family-friendly fun fest. The event is free for museum members and is included in general admission.

For tickets and more information, call (916) 808-1182 or visit crockerartmuseum.org. The Crocker Art Museum is located at 216 O St.
