“Rock of Ages” could just as easily be called “Rock of the ’80s,” but no matter. If you’re a fan of such bands as Journey, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Bon Jovi or Asia—or just love a good party, period—this musical, which features songs from these artists (and more) and comes to the Harris Center on April 17, 18 and 19, could be one of the highlights of 2014 for you. The story revolves around a small-town girl who falls in love with a big-city rocker circa 1987, but at its core, this energetic, high-voltage show is all about the music.
