Zappa Plays Zappa: ‘Roxy & Elsewhere’

Posted on January 29

A true treat for Frank Zappa fans will happen Tuesday, Feb. 4, when Zappa Plays Zappa, led by Frank’s eldest son Dweezil, performs at the Crest Theatre. The band has been paying tribute to the late, great Zappa—one of music’s most eclectic, eccentric, iconoclastic visionaries—for some 8 years, but this concert is different: They’ll be performing Zappa’s classic 1974 album “Roxy & Elsewhere” in celebration of its 40th anniversary. As if that isn’t cool enough, guitarists who want to hone their chops (and have $75 to spare) can take a guitar master class from Dweezil Zappa himself at 3 p.m. the day of the show.

For more information, visit thecrest.com. For tickets, visit tickets.com or call 1-800-225-2277.
