Here at the magazine, we are reading final proofs of the Winter/Spring 2013 edition of Our Wedding, slated to hit newsstands the second week of November.

It’s so exciting to see the stories that we’ve conceptualized and worked on for so many months finally come to life. I am especially excited about our eight “Love Stories,” where I talk to recently married couples about their weddings.

As a journalist, I am supposed to remain detached and impartial from my subjects. But I have to admit, especially with these stories, I fail miserably. It’s difficult not to feed off of the excitement they still feel about this very special day in their lives. Listening to their stories is heartwarming and inspiring and entertaining. I hope you get the same vibe reading them. The couples include a list of vendors they hired for the big day, so if while reading one of their stories you like, say, the flowers, you’ll likely be able to get in touch with that same florist.

In addition to “Love Stories,” the next issue of Our Wedding will be packed with information that we hope will be helpful to you as your plan your dream wedding.
