Look at what took place at a recent bridal fair at McClellen Park: a proposal! Local musician Michael Sean Miller proposed to girlfriend Bethany Anne Beam. As you can see, the bride-to-be was surprised and elated. “She is very genuine, loving and caring . . . I could go on and on,” says Miller, an El Dorado Hills-based musician who in addition to weddings performs at charity and corporate events, private parties, graduation ceremonies and more. The two met when Bethany spotted Michael on the dating site, christianmingle.com. The couple have not set a wedding date, but Miller says it will probably be a couple of years out, after Beam, a theater arts major at Sacramento State, finishes school. Miller says he and Beam, who also sings, will eventually perform together at weddings. “We’ll be remembering our love story when we’re helping other people create their love stories, too,” he says.
