Lively and friendly, this bastion of rustic French cuisine gets crowded on weekend evenings. But as soon as you sink your teeth into chef Wendi Mentinck’s grilled wild boar sausages and huckleberry compote, or her fabulous roasted garlic escargot in Burgundy wine butter, you’ll forget your surroundings. The bistro is tucked back in a busy retail center and can be a bit hard to locate, but keep looking. It’s well worth the effort.
