Tucked in a shabby strip mall, this place doesn’t look like much from the outside. But step through the door and you’ll be surprised at the elegant ambiance. Meat kabobs are the starring attraction here. Smokily delicious, the meats are served with fluffy basmati rice and grilled tomatoes. Other not-to-miss entrées include incredibly tender braised chicken in tomato saffron sauce and lusty Persian beef stew with yellow split peas. Yummy flatbread called taftoon is made by hand and baked at the front of the restaurant, and its captivating aromas fill the space.
