Estelle’s Patisserie's Macarons

Posted on April 30

When Esther Son decided to open a French patisserie on Sacramento’s K Street Mall, she knew she simply had to serve traditional MACARONS. “A patisserie without macarons is like a hamburger joint without french fries,” she says. Estelle’s Patisserie (901 K St.) offers the delicate sandwich cookies in a variety of flavors: blueberry, strawberry, pistachio, chocolate, green tea, espresso, even peanut butter and jelly. They cost $1.75 apiece and come in a pretty gift box.
