The fifth annual Donut Dash fun run will take place Saturday, March 9, 2013 to raise money for the Child Life Program at Sutter Children’s Center, Sacramento. This unique 4-mile race has runners stopping at the two-mile mark to eat four donuts at Marie’s Donuts, then running two more miles to the finish line.
This is a family event and strollers and dogs on leashes are welcomed. Registration includes four donuts from Marie’s Donuts, event t-shirt (guaranteed for those registered before Feb. 28) and a one-of-a-kind finisher’s award. Sutter Children’s Center, part of the Sutter Health network of care, is a comprehensive children’s hospital that is part of Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento. It serves 7,000 children a year from 26 Northern California counties and beyond.
