Arden Playhouse is pleased to present For Love or Money a new play by Michael Messmer. For Love or Money is a fast-paced, classic farce, complete with lots of confusion, deception, and plans that go wildly haywire. We all know how one little deception can create lots of complications. But what happens when you have a room full of people engaged in little deceptions? Amanda is rich but pretends not to be when Paul, a man she almost married many years before, shows up pretending to be Paolo, an arrogant artist who hates rich people. And Jerome, a hypnotherapist who has planted some ideas, pretends not to know what could have gone wrong. Soon, everyone is trying to figure out what is going on. Whether it’s For Love or Money, it makes for a wild romp with lots of laughs. Fri. & Sat. at 8:00 pm, Sun. at 2:00 pm. |
