Jackie Abrams will present a program titled, Textile Travels in Africa, at the January meeting of the Guild. Take a visual journey to Ghana, Namibia, and Uganda. Visit the workshops of Kente cloth weavers, follow the steps of glass bead making, and see the basket makers as they work. Experience the culture, the people, and the places. |
