At Pavilions Market, a Spooky Sweet for Halloween

At Pavilions Market, a Spooky Sweet for Halloween

At The Market at Pavilions, gingerbread is not just for Christmas. Need proof? Check out this haunted gingerbread mansion, made by the market’s pastry chef, Cindy Lemmon. Standing about 3 feet tall, it’s decorated with sunflower seeds, candy corn, licorice and pretzel sticks. Cookie ghosts pop out of the door and an upstairs window, and a sign over the entry reads “Beware.” It took Lemmon about 15 hours over the course of two weeks to construct the house. For display only, it sits on a table right inside the front door of the store (formerly David Berkley). Wondering about the number “515” on the building’s exterior? It’s The Market’s street-address number.
